Georgie
Journalist Georgie certainly gets the medal for being the Bingham Sisters’ most badly behaved member. A dedicated lover of food, wine, good times and late nights, the only reason she isn’t obese is because she chose a career that requires her look good most of the time. Working in TV is her saving grace as it makes her go to the gym, exercise like a mad thing and eat angelically on her quiet days! The good news for you is that Georgie is unrepentantly honest on her blogs and that can help everyone feel a little more normal on a ‘fat day’. She is also a happy Guinea Pig of all the latest fads and fitness/diet programmes.
Georgie lives in London and works for the Premier League, Talksport Radio and Sky News. She’s previously worked for Sky Sports, Sky News, ITV, and spent 3 years in the USA at ESPN.
Georgie is an absolute golf nut who also loves playing tennis and cycling and has done a few triathlons in her time (badly – but it’s the taking part that counts.) She is an obsessive reader, loves political satire and cooking (also a problem for the weight thing.)

Hey Georgie, really like your blogs – they’re very interesting.
I’ve often thought of being a sports Journalist – any ideas on how to become one, even on a part-time basis? How do you find the career of a sports Broadcaster?
In your latest blog, the bit about “Get out for some fresh air!” is so true – there’s nothing more satisfying than working off the Christmas turkey – myself and my brothers and some friends have built up a bit of a tradition over the last number of years of going on a hike in the Wicklow mountains on St Stephens’s Day – I bring along sausages (if possible wild boar and pork and apple) and cook them on my gas burner on the hike before sharing them out along with some bread and ketchup – this, together with some delicious tea from a flask, is really nice. The sausages and tea always taste so much nicer out in the beautiful, fresh, country air while on a hike.
Anyway, that’s all for the moment.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards,
Colm
